Just a quick plug for Bob Mihajlovicand his team in primary care who organise and deliver primary care training across central Manchester. Many of our trainees are GPSTs and will be familiar with the training programs but I suspect others may not be aware of what is available in the primary care education field.
There is much said at the moment about integrating primary and secondary care services but from my perspective it often seems that there is little in the way of communication and sharing at clinician level. In hospital we often find multispeciality meetings to be excellent ways of sharing problems and finding solutions to clinical problems. Why not with our primary care colleagues? If we learned together might we work together better? Perhaps.
If you have GP trainees, if you are just interested or if you would like to get involved then the website is available here.
